Earn while you learn as a diploma apprentice
An apprenticeship is a real job with training, which means you can earn a salary while you study. Through the apprenticeship, you will gain the technical knowledge, practical experience and more comprehensive skills and behaviours you need for your role. Gain formal off-the-job training and the opportunity to practice these new skills in your job.
Most employers will pay more than the minimum wage for apprentices and will increase your pay as you progress while you work a minimum of 30 hours per week. You can start most apprenticeships at 18 years old.
Becoming an Apprentice
Apprenticeships provide a great way to combine work with study, enabling learners to earn a salary at the same time as studying for a qualification.
You will spend at least 20% of your working hours studying for your credential as an apprentice. This means that you would be employed to perform a specific job role and, simultaneously, learn the subject-specific competencies of your Apprenticeship at Guild House Tech.

High School Students
There are opportunities to start a diploma apprenticeship while still in high school; ask your Guidance Councilor if they partner with us.

Apprenticeship Vacancies
Guild House Tech will support you in connecting with employers who are hiring apprentices. You are both an employee and an apprentice!
